Welcome to Simon Kenton Farm
Simon Kenton Farm is both a subdivision and a neighborhood. Once upon a time the land was a united plot farmed by Simon Kenton and later the Hunt Family. Visionary, builder, and developer, Terry Hoppes divided the land into three separate areas that included public space for the residents who live within each parcel of land. Two parcels were developed into condominiums and one parcel became a residential neighborhood with a community park and pond. The entire subdivision is privately owned and regulated by plat covenants as overseen and managed by individual associations. Hunt Parkway, as well as the streets within Dowden Park are easements granted to Moorefield Township and usable by the general public. All else, the Hunt Nature Preserve, ponds, walk, park, etc., is privately owned with each resident having a vested interest. The Clark County Sherrif's Department provides the subdivision with the necessary protection. Fire and emergency medical services are provided by Moorefield Township. Shopping, schools, churches, boating, and much more are within a few short minutes of drive time.
